Q: How much can you offer for my home? I need to sell quickly. I am being threatened with foreclosure.

A: If we decide to buy the property, we’ll offer a reasonable price. Shoreland Homebuyers will work diligently to put together an attractive package, but you must also realize this is a business. If we bought houses at excessively high prices, we wouldn’t be around. If you are set on a price and are not willing to budge, we wish you the best of luck in selling your home.

Q:I’ve been told my house lacks “curb appeal.” Would you still be interested in buying it?

A: Yes. Don’t spend your hard earned money, valuable time, and energy working on a house you will never enjoy. Do you have the time for all those repairs? Renovations? If you are considering preparing your home for sale, our advice to you is to budget more resources than you initial intentions. It is almost always more work and money.

We can see past purely cosmetic problems with your home, even major renovation work. We buy properties “as is.” We will look at houses in New York--including Long Island, Connecticut, and New Jersey.

Q:What’s wrong with selling through a realtor?

A: Nothing. They are professional business people who know how to market and sell homes. Their services, however, are not for everyone. We fill that need risking our resources to buy your property.
