Realtors:
One Method of Selling
Realtors are good when you have the time
and when your house has "curb appeal" (looks spotless
& flawless.) Many people sell their homes this way, but
it is not your only option.
A successful realtor will have dozens of
homes to sell. If yours needs special attention or a quick
transaction, you may be disappointed.
Sellers must also complete a number of
tasks before the process gets going. Realtors often require
inspections, insurance, renovation work, and open houses.
These items can take months. If you are facing foreclosure
or have a personal emergency, you may not have time, money,
or mental energy to do the work involved.
Once a buyer is lined up, he/she still
has to get approval from their lender. We would pay you CASH.
Should you decide to employ a realtor,
we recommend you ask him/her to exclude Shoreland Homebuyers
on the contract. If the property does not sell in time, you
will have reserved your right to accept our offer. If we buy
your home, we won't charge you commission and you will have
avoided paying the realtor's commission. In many cases, this
is thousands of dollars saved. The exclusion gives you a choice
and a back up plan. |
